This Head Chick has a successful blog and Twitter following, speaks Internationally, and loves a good chat about web strategy more than just about anything (except maybe shoe shopping). After 8 years developing search engine strategies and measuring online ROI for the Niagara Falls hotel and tourism industry, Alicia’s true calling came when she partnered with Patricia to spread the gospel of non-intimidating digital marketing.

Alicia continues to build online strategy for organizations such as Destination Halifax, the Shaw Festival Theatre and many others. She tries her best to keep up with the other Chick as they tackle the world of digital marketing with their team of 14.  An avid Tweeter and Blogger, Alicia is a Social Media aficiando and has been quoted in many publications online and off as an expert in the field.  She has organically grown a Twitter following of over 3,000 and provides strategy and insight for Tweeters and non-Tweeters looking to use emerging media to build their business online.

She’s the co-founder of Online Revealed Canada, the Canadian Online Tourism Conference, and she’s really at home speaking about Digital Marketing at events like PhocusWright, IAB, IRMA, TIANS, and more.

A proud mother of two (real children) Alicia can be found in her off-chick time taking shots on net (for a 6-year old hockey enthusiast), and playing soccer (with her daughter who at 9 is already better than her Mom), enjoying a pint of Micro-brew with friends, or working off her energy in a spinning class.
