Patricia and Alicia speak – a lot! And Sandie is the one who pulls all these speaking engagements and workshops together. Of course, that’s when she’s not writing press releases and being our own personal Martha Stewart. 

Sandie is one of our East Coast chicks who lives in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia on the shores of beautiful Lake Charles with her family of men – husband Paul, sons Kirk and Nick and the family furkid, Tavish a lively 4 year old golden retriever. Craig, her oldest son and his wife Chantelle, live nearby.

Sandie has a passion for entertaining and the house at the lake always has a crowd, from Sunday family night dinners to dozens of hockey parties for the boy’s teams and BBQ ing for a hoard of friends of the boys. There is never a shortage of food or drink and always an extra place at the table for whoever comes along. Her entertaining skills come in handy at the Chick client parties and team get-togethers as it is a given – Sandie’s the in-house caterer!

Sandie spent 25 years in the hospitality business with Starwood and New Castle Hotels and Resorts and three years ago formed her own company Currie Planning WORKS!, with the chicks as one of her many clients. She is proud of her BA in English from St. Francis Xavier University. She also is a seasoned event planner and has produced hundreds of events throughout the years including large conferences such as our own Online Revealed.
